It was a great way to relax and have some fun after a busy day at the office.  Twelve of us boarded the beautiful 15 meter dive boat Hoochie Mumma for a Twilight dive at South Head reef.

Anchored in the shallow calm water we descended to a reef covered in bright red sponges and 10 meters viz, pairs of small Mourning Cuttle fish with tentacles raised challenged us to come closer, stingrays scooted about, octopus and sea dragons roamed the kelp garden.

After the dive we motored to a calm anchorage near Camp Cove to enjoy a delicious Sausage Sizzle cooked by Hoochie Mumma crew, Todd, Phil and Jason but mainly cooked by Todd.  The spectacular city skyline was ablaze with nightlights as we enjoyed a nice glass of red, sausages on a bun and chatting with our buddies – Life is Very Good !

The Hoochie Mumma is a large spacious vessel and very well set up with excellent tank racks, gear stowage and superb entry/exit ladders on the full width dive deck with fresh water rinse bins for cameras. The crew were very efficient and helpful, skipper Jason really knows Sydney dive sites as he has had years of experience.

We look forward to many more excursions aboard and a mid week night dive really breaks up the tedium of the working week!
