Dive 2000 Dive Club - Sydney :: Girls just love to shop

This year our annual Ladies Dive Day was no exception. Our girls were treated at Shelly Beach to flat seas, clear water and sunshine after which they retreated to the beautiful restaurant setting provided by the Cammeray Golf Club.

Our ladies wasted no time shopping from the lovely selection of bling jewellery from the Katie Bourchier 2009 collection. Bracelets, necklaces, earrings and anklets were all popular items for personal adornment or perfect Xmas gifts for family and friends.

All our ladies were thrilled to receive a Xmas gift, a beautiful jewellery book marker designed by Katie.

Shopping is thirsty work so the champagne was much appreciated and the calories lost keeping warm on the dive were quickly restored with servings of delicious food from the brunch menu. Any feelings of guilt among those who skipped the diving activity were soon forgotten when they tasted the food.

This year's divers quiz competition was again a fun event that tested the ladies knowledge of all things marine. Winners of first and second prize were the mother and daughter team of Marianne and Fenella Cochrane. You would not want to come up against these two in a trivial pursuit competition.

A great day was had by all and our lady divers agree, it's a pleasure having a day dedicated to the things that ladies like to do.
