Dive club member Belinda Balkema took some time out on the June long weekend with some friends in Nelson Bay for some diving and relaxing.

At the end of a dusk dive at the site local guru Dave Harasti calls Seahorse Garden, Belinda foud this large Blue Ring Octopus out over the sand in about 1.5m of water.

This gave her a great opportunity to capture the shape of the occy moving across the bottom and the fantastic electric blue colours in this amazing critter with her Olympus companct camera and housing.
