Paul Krattiger loves diving around Sydney, especially at Bare Island, where he has a knack for spotting some unique critters (see his July 2005 image).

We love this photo of a small Painted Anglerfish perched on a sponge.  Paul tells us that this guy was only 15mm long and he was not sure exactly what he had found until he was able to view the images from the dive!

Paul captured this image of this frogfish with his Nikon F80 SLR in a Sea & Sea housing with twin SB105 strobes providing the lighting.
