Dear Barry and Belinda,

Hello and a very Happy New Year to you.

Please find attached a picture of our "On the Shop Floor" players happily and very proudly holding our Runner Up Award for the Best City Dive Centre in Australia. It is certainly an honour to have achieved this award and again we thank all of our fabulous Dive 2000 customers, their families and friends for supporting and encouraging us in our pursuit of a successful and much enjoyed dive facility. This year Dive 2000 will celebrate 25 years in business and our Dive 2000 Team of intrepid Instructors and Dive Masters are a very big asset to our continued success therefore we proudly accept this award on behalf of The Dive 2000 Team.

Thank you Barry and Belinda and to everyone at Dive Log involved in organising this competition which provided us with many, many votes of support and heartfelt emails that we never expected to hear. We have copied just a few below and say thank you to everyone. We love what we do and we hope you all love what we do for you and that is, of course, helping you to enjoy your adventures in diving.

Back in 1990/91/92 I was so determined to take up Scuba Diving I went through the yellow pages and perused about 15 different Dive shops that had courses, it didn't take me long to decide who it was that I wanted to learn through, my instructors were Warren Wilson who took me through my Open Water & Advanced Open Water and Ross Boardman who took me through my Rescue Diver course on Mar 07th 1992 and other specialty courses then after, they would have to be the most memorable times that I have ever encounter.

Why I chose to learn through The Dive2000 Team was that Kev Deacon made you feel apart of his dive family but apart from that the equipment used either to learn with &/or to hire was & still is the most modern of equipment used & you can't beat quality.

Its clean and maintained / replaced on a regular basis, they always put safety first & that's why I chose to dive with the best.

In my opinion, Dive 2000 is the best dive centre in the world. Being located close to where I live it is my first point of call when I am in need of a new wet suit. This is often, as I am an Infants Aquatics Specialist Teacher - in the water 8 am - 3 pm Tuesday to Friday, conducting Project Life Preservation out of North Sydney Municipal Pool.

Only passion has enabled this to happen.

This passion is witnessed when in Dive 2000 through honesty, knowledge, happy faces, mindfulness; ie, professionalism. I enjoy walking in there and always walk out feeling like I count. They don't always have the suit I require but there's always an option. I will always go to Dive 2000 first as I feel very welcome there. Without fail, thankfully, they respond to the budget I am on.

It is an intention of mine to participate in their dive program. I subscribe to their newsletter for this reason. Also, I would like to do all in my duty of care to open up some space for them in North Sydney Olympic Pool as I know it would be a good preparation place for those learning to dive as I will be! I have been dealing with Dive 2000 for over five years. They deserve to win!

I haven't been a member with Dive2000 for long but have had some experience with quite a few others. Dive2000 has the winning combination of professional, friendly and accessible staff, an active dive club and quality products.

Hi Guys!

Well its great to get a chance to say it and hopefully you get the recognition you so deserve. Without a doubt the best Sydney dive operation I have ever had the pleasure to deal with.Holidays - Fantastic, Service - Fantastic, Dive Club - Fantastic, Product Range - Fantastic, Knowledge - Fantastic.

I have never felt safer diving than when I dive with the team at Dive 2000. I cannot wait to return to Sydney so that I can dive again!!
