Club member and regular Saturday shore diver Rick Hawkins celebrated his 300th dive on the 8th of March at Bare Island in Sydney. This is pretty impressive given that he did not take up diving until he was 48 and is averaging about 55 a year, a figure he would love to accelerate by a large factor, arthritic hip and encroaching gerontocracy willing.
