Not even a brief thunderstorm could dampen the spirits of our ardent spud hunters!

On Sunday 13th of April 2008 our Picnic Day and Treasure Hunt was held at Kurnell with about 50 keen divers taking part.  Conditions were quite calm and clear enough to make hunting potatoes fun.

Our potato planter Greg Fuzi did a good job especially considering he lost a pitched battle with a massive (he claims?) blue grouper who swam off with a potato!  At least it was not the spud for the major prize.

Once back onshore our hungry divers were treated to succulent steaks on crusty rolls expertly cooked by our Master Chef Alex Sekulic ably assisted by Heather Hopwood and Desiree Stevens in preparation.

The prize draw conducted by Cherie was a lot of fun and congratulations to our lucky winners;
