The day was sunny, the sea was flat and the divers were keen!

In late May the Saturday shore divers assembled at Harbord with Divemaster Dave Young to get their regular underwater fix.  With the calm seas at the end of autumn, the group was able to enter the water front the rock shelf on the point to do the swim back around to the exit at the pool.

The visibility was about 15m on this very fishy site and we were accompanied by large schools of yellowtail and other species throughout the dive.  Also spotted the regular wobbegong, cuttles and morays at this site.

Most surprising though, was a Blue Ring Octopus sitting up on as boulder putting on its electric blue display for us.

Thanks to Patrick Dwyer for the images from the dive.
