Sunday’s double dive produced 29 divers in water with Dive Masters Jean Paul and Cherie plus Kevin as Shore Master. Kurnell is a favourite because of the colourful sponge gardens, Sea Dragons and friendly Blue Gropers not to mention so much other marine life that visit depending what time of year it is. Conditions were very good and viz around 10 meters at the bottom. There was enough time between dives to enjoy our BYO picnic lunches and celebrate Rick Harris and Arianne Faulkenbergs’ birthdays with party cakes and some poor singing.
Most headed off fairly smartly to secure a car park at Shiprock for their second dive. The excitement was huge when our divers emerged from their dive. Hundreds of Nudibranchs everywhere, Octopus on the wall, so much to see!! Some said it was the best dive they’ve done in
